Hardware manufacturer Razer has launched a new version of the Firefly gaming mouse pad. The focus of the Razer Firefly V2 was in particular on improvements in the intensity of the RGB lighting - the revised version of the gaming mouse pad has also been streamlined. The new gaming mouse pad is available now. Razer calls for a price of around 60 euros.

Hardware specialist Razer describes itself as a “lifestyle brand for gamers”. What shouldn't be missing is the right style, which the company underlines with its Chroma RGB technology. Because the gaming peripherals of many manufacturers shine nowadays, Razer has made it its mission to shine brighter than the competition. The first step is the improvement of the Razer Firefly gaming mouse pad, version 2 of which is lighter and thinner than its already good predecessor.

Razer Chroma: Firefly V2 aims to intensify RGB experience

The successor to the Firefly is the brightest RGB mouse pad with Razer Chroma, a lighting system that, according to Razer, currently supports over 500 devices and is also integrated into 130 games. The Razer Firefly V2 not only has brighter LEDs, but also more lighting zones on the four sides of the gaming mouse pad: there are 19 in total.

The chroma effects can be customized with over 16,8 million colors and numerous predefined lighting effects via Razer Synapse 3. With a thickness of just three millimeters and a micro-textured, hard surface, the Razer Firefly V2 stands for precise tracking for all mouse sensors, playing styles and sensitivity settings.
With the release of the revised version, the price of the predecessor of the Razer Firefly V2 should soon decrease:

The integrated cable holder, which is supposed to guarantee minimal pulling resistance, is also practical for gamers. An anti-slip surface also ensures that the gaming mouse pad is held securely. While the luminosity of the Razer Firefly V2 has increased, the thickness of the gaming mouse pad has decreased.

The Razer Firefly V2 is now over razer.com as well as commercially available. The price is around 60 euros.
