2K today announced that 14-time NBA All-Star, five-time Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, six-time NBA World Champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan has signed the cover of the NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and the premium NBA 2K23 Championship edition.

Not only is Michael Jordan returning to the covers of NBA 2K23, this year the 'Jordan Challenge' returns, challenging players to relive 15 iconic moments from Jordan's glorious career. All ten of the original Challenges from NBA 2K11 have been rebuilt from the ground up for their return this year. There are also five new legendary Jordan moments for a whole new generation of players. The Challenges take advantage of a decade's technological advances to offer a whole new way to play through Jordan's achievements - all within a dedicated game mode.
The 'Jordan Challenge' also highlights a series of compelling achievements in Jordan's basketball career in college, the NBA and Team USA Basketball for players to experience through the 15 challenges and unique video vignettes. The latter feature special commentary from a range of NBA celebrities, Jordan's teammates, opponents and other sports personalities who have seen him live, helping to bring his legacy to a younger generation of NBA fans.
