Ubisoft announced that Apple TV+ today unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated third season of Mythic Quest, co-creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz. The 10-episode third season begins with the first two episodes on Friday November 11th. After that, it will be released with one new episode per week until January 6, 2023.
In the third season, Mythic Quest follows a group of video game developers whose task is to create worlds, shape heroes and create legends, but the hardest fights are not in the game but in the office.
The first two seasons are still ongoing
In season three, Ian and Poppy must navigate the world of gaming and their partnership at newly formed GrimPop Studios, while Dana is forced to mediate their bosses' constant bickering.
Back on Mythic Quest, David is settling into his new role as boss, which is his first time truly in charge. Jo returns as his assistant - more loyal and fierce than ever; and Carol tries to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion. At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to reconcile her morals with capitalism, while Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man after being in prison.
The series stars McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao and David Hornsby, who also serves as executive producer. Also starring are Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin, who was cast in a permanent role for season three. It also features guest stars like Joe Manganiello, Lindsey Kraft and Casey Sander.
Mythic Quest is produced by McElhenney and Day under their RCG banner, Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel for 3Arts, and Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik and Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film & Television. Hornsby and Ganz are also executive producers.
The series is produced for Apple TV+ by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment and Ubisoft. The first two seasons of Mythic Quest are now available to stream on Apple TV+.
