Kicking off digital tabletop gaming, Krafton has officially launched Moonbreaker Early Access, which is available now on PC and Mac via Steam. Moonbreaker is being developed by Unknown Worlds, creators of the Subnautica series. It's a new turn-based tabletop tactics game presented as a true digital miniatures experience set in an expansive sci-fi universe by author Brandon Sanderson is located.

With its accessible, turn-based, competitive gameplay, ongoing content releases, and deep customization options, Moonbreaker will offer a variety of gaming experiences - especially for fans of tabletop and trading card games. Players will be able to lead their squads, consisting of captains, crew, and assistants, in fast-paced, turn-based encounters with a variety of gameplay choices. With more than 50 units (Captains, Crew, and Assistants) available at launch of Early Access, squad combinations are endless.
Every aspect of Moonbreaker was designed to capture the feel of a physical miniatures game without the limitations of the real world. With detailed, intuitive, and constantly evolving painting tools, players can take their units to the next level of customization. Custom palettes, stunning skins, customizable leaderboard banners, and professional digital painting tools create the perfect space for players to flourish. You can paint the units using traditional techniques (but with an undo button!) or admire the rich liveries created by professional miniature painters.
As Moonbreaker enters Early Access, so does the first season to feature a season path. By playing and progressing through the season, players can earn a variety of cosmetic items such as unit skins, paint palettes, decals, squad banner shapes, and the exclusive Death Bot skin for Extilior, one of the three Commanders available at the launch of Early Access are. The first season, which will run for about four months, is available to all players at no additional cost.
Players can also experience the world created by Brandon Sanderson in Moonbreaker: Tales from the Reaches, a special podcast series written by New York Times bestselling author Dan Wells.
The first episode, Extilior's Story, is available now in-game or on digital podcast platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeart Media, Amazon Podcasts, and Stitcher. The audio dramas transport listeners to various locations in the Reaches - a tiny solar system with moons held in orbit by a scarce resource called Cinder. At the same time, they learn more about the main characters and the world of the game. Moonbreaker's dramas tell a compelling twisted story that will unfold for years to come. A total of three of these audio dramas will be released in Moonbreaker's first season, and more are planned for each upcoming season.
