Metroid Prime 4 does not have a release date for Nintendo Switch, but there is a sign of life from the game, the development of which is not that straightforward. The Texan development studio Retro Studios has placed a job advertisement on Nintendo's career portal in which graphic work is to be outsourced to an external developer.

Because Metroid Prime 4 has only been redeveloped from scratch since the beginning of 2019, this brief information is still relevant. So the company is aware of the power of the brand - Nintendo wants to deliver with Metroid Prime 4.

What Metroid Prime 4 will ultimately be released is still uncertain. Fans will probably have to wait a long time for the release. With the new start of development, the project was virtually set to zero. Even a few months later, in April 2019, the Retro Studios had not yet filled all the positions that were important for the development.
In the meantime, it was questionable whether Metroid Prime 4 could even make it to the Nintendo Switch in view of the technological advancement in the console sector. In the meantime, the game can at least be pre-ordered. The date for the publication is given as December 31, 2020: but this will be a placeholder - unless Retro Studios could make a gigantic spurt, which is currently unlikely due to a lack of information.
