Since the announcement of the MCU flick "Thunderbolts" there have been rumors about possible takeovers of the role of the super villain Thaddeus Ross. According to reports, Harrison Ford will embody the character in the future. He is thus following in the venerable footsteps of actor William Hurt, who died in March of this year. Actor William Hurt, popular not only among Marvel fans, played the character of Thaddeus Ross, nicknamed Thunderbolt, in the popular MCU films Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow, Captain America: Civil War” and “The Incredible Hulk”. Now, rumor has it that high-profile actor Harrison Ford is set to reprise his role in Marvel's Thunderbolts, becoming a new, familiar part of the super villain squad set to bring Marvel's Phase 5 to a close.
Will Harrison Ford become a super villain?
Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed additional actors for the MCU film at D23 2022. Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, David Harbors as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Florence take on a super villain character in "Thunderbolts". Pugh as Black Widow, Yelena Belova and Sebastian Stan's Bucky as the Winter Soldier. It has not yet been announced whether Daniel Brühl will return to his role as Baron Zemo for the film. Most recently, fans saw him in the MCU hit The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The film should offer Zemo enough space for his path to redemption. Jake Schreier is expected to direct. The filmmaker is known for films such as Robot & Frank, Paper Towns and Traces of Margo. Black Widow author Eric Pearson is said to be responsible for the top-secret script.
