It's been a wild ride with the Marvel's Midnight Suns release date. Actually, the game should have been released on October 7th, but was then postponed to spring 2023. Now Firaxis and 2K are rowing back again: Marvel's Midnight Suns will be released for the current-gen consoles and for PC on December 2nd.
Marvel's Midnight Suns: Tactics with Heroes
It seems that work on the current-gen versions, i.e. those for the more powerful Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles as well as for PC, went much better than expected, because the game will now be released earlier.
However, there is still no updated release date for the game versions for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. 2K will announce that later. This was also the case before: "to be announced" was the name of the postponement.
It wasn't the only new announcement about the new Marvel deck building game with a strong tactical impact. Prior to launch, Marvel's Midnight Suns plans to release a series of animated shorts to set the stage for the story and showcase the 13 playable heroes. The first of the short films should therefore start on October 31st.
Midnight Suns will be released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. Midnight Suns is a tactical turn-based strategy game developed by Firaxis, the creators of AAA titles like Civilization and XCOM.
