Many new expansions announced for Cities: Skylines

Cities: Skylines kicks off its upcoming World Tour on November 15th with the release of five content expansions, Financial Districts and Africa in Miniature.

Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order today announce the launch of the Cities: Skylines World Tour, a series of updates and expansions representing different regions around the world. 

Releases from November 15th

Releases begin November 15, 2022 with Heart of Korea and Skyscrapers Content Creator Packs, two radio stations, and a free update. The next leg of the tour takes place on December 13th when the new Colossal Order mini-expansion Financial Districts is released, along with a new map pack and a third radio station.

The Cities: Skylines "World Tour" continues in 2023 with Africa in Miniature, a content creator pack made in collaboration with independent Nigerian developers and of course including its own radio station.

Players can look forward to a virtual journey around the world with each unique release of Cities: Skylines:

Heart of Korea Content Creator Pack by Elvis: Inspired by a South Korean metropolis, this pack introduces 60 assets including service buildings, upgradeable and unique structures. Heart of Korea will be released on November 15, 2022 for a suggested retail price of $5,99. The "K-Pop" radio station will be available simultaneously for a suggested retail price of $3,99.

Skyscrapers Content Creator Pack by Feinbold: Players will enjoy 15+ skyscrapers influenced by iconic skyscrapers from around the world. Skyscrapers will be available for download from November 15, 2022 for a suggested retail price of EUR 5,99. At the same time, the 80's Downtown Beat radio station will be available for a suggested retail price of $3,99.

financial districts: The Colossal Order mini-expansion boosts the city's economy with its own financial district, introduces the Investments feature and more than 100 assets that allow players to use funds to invest in the best industries for their people. Financial Districts will be released on December 13th, 2022 along with the Content Creator Pack Map Pack 2, which will deliver ten new maps to represent different biomes such as temperate, tropical, desert and more.

Africa in miniature was developed in collaboration with Nigerian independent content creators Emmanuel Bassey and Setonji "Prince Set" Hotonu. This Content Creator Pack brings Africa's extraordinarily diverse architecture and vibrant colors to the game. Influenced by Cameroon's diverse geography (and inspired by the world-renowned name Africa in Miniature, as Cameroon is also known), Africa in Miniature features more than 40 buildings inspired by existing urban masterpieces and the region's unique architectural concepts .

As a taste of what's to come, players can purchase African Vibes Radio Station on December 13, 2022, featuring 16 tracks sure to inspire any city planner.

Africa in Miniature is scheduled to be released in 2023 with a new radio station called JADIA (Just Another Day in Africa). This is a collection of 16 tracks by Cameroonian musician Wan Shey, who pays homage to his country's musical traditions.

At the same time is the Release of a free update scheduled for November 15, 2022, which will add free content to both the base game and the three expansions After Dark, Snowfall, and Plazas & Promenades. Content includes: Vehicles of different capacities such as buses and trams, as well as types of multi-lane roads, railroad tracks and bike lanes.

Additionally, Cities: Skylines is available to try for free on Steam from November 10th to November 14th.
