Frontier Developments announces that Jurassic World Evolution 2 players will receive a free base game update on Thursday, June 8th. This is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the groundbreaking adventure film Jurassic Park. The update will be available to all players on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows Store and GeForce Now, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
With more than 20 iconic decorations known from the hit 1993 film from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, a 65 million year old enduring nostalgia comes to life.
"When the Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth"
The update includes everything players need to create the ultimate Jurassic Park tribute, from a colorful statue of the ever-smiling Mr. DNA, the park's original mascot, to the classic airlock doors from the original film.
Fans can erect a new banner arch with the unforgettable words "When the Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" and the mural from the restaurant "Les Gigantes" depicting scenes of just escaped Velociraptors chasing Tim and Lex. Additionally, the update introduces the Power Bunker, where some of the film's main characters take refuge.
Additionally, the update will allow players to guide guests and staff through their parks using a series of classic paths faithfully reminiscent of their Jurassic Park counterparts. The update is rounded out with other decorative items such as the skeletons of T.Rex and Alamosaurus, the unforgettable "Big Pile...", the small electric fence and more.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can also create the dinosaur park of their dreams in Jurassic World Evolution 2 this month, as the base game is available for free on the platform throughout June.
