The parking simulation Jurassic World: Evolution 2 has barely been on the market for two weeks, since Frontier Developments is already releasing the first paid content update. Also included: new land-dwelling dinosaurs, marine and flight reptiles from the early Cretaceous.

With Jurassic World: Evolution 2, Frontier Developments has donated a successor to the park simulation series, and it is got really good. Players are busy with the campaigns and the sandbox mode for a few dozen hours - and now the developers have taken care of supplies. With the new DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2, more dinosaur races find their way into the game, and the DLC is accompanied by a free update with bug fixes and Quality of Life improvements.

Dinos from the early Cretaceous period

The Early Cretaceous Pack is available now for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GeForce Now, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a suggested retail price of €7,99.

Following the critically acclaimed release of Jurassic World Evolution 2, players can discover a fascinating array of animal species with the Jurassic World Evolution 2: Early Cretaceous Pack. With four exciting prehistoric animals, including land-dwelling dinosaurs, marine and flight reptiles, as well as a multitude of new excavation sites for dinosaurs and reptiles, budding paleontologists can enrich their parks with these new star attractions.

The Kronosaurus, named after the King of the Titans, is one of the largest pliosaurs of all time, a carnivorous marine reptile with powerful, paddle-like fins that help it catch its prey.

Equally impressive is the Djungaripterus, a stocky, stocky pterosaur, easily recognizable by its huge head and long, upturned jaw. It also has a characteristic crest. Paleontologists suspect that this could have served as an oar when flying.

In addition to these new marine and flight reptiles, players can greet the eye-catching Wuerhosaurus with its crouched stance that allows it to feed on vegetation and undergrowth, as well as the small but powerful Minmi, an armored ankylosaur that slides through horizontally-oriented Bone plates are characterized along the sides of its back, which protect it well from predators. These majestic beings, each with their own dynamic behaviors and needs, will delight guests and present players' parks with new challenges.

The paid DLC for Jurassic World: Evolution 2 will be launched along with a free update that will bring a number of new features and improvements to existing players. This includes new buildings modeled after both the original Jurassic Park and the Department of Fish and Wildlife, including lagoons and aviaries, as well as the five campaign maps in sandbox mode. Customization and creation is now even faster and deeper, allowing players to overlap shrubs to create more natural undergrowth. With the new random option, players can opt for a wide range of pattern and color combinations when bringing multiple dinosaurs to life at the same time.
