The EA The original It takes Two has now sold over seven million copies, according to developer Hazelight Studios. The video game with the forced two-player mode reaches another milestone. On the occasion of the celebration, only one thing remains to be said: If you haven't played the title yet, you should consider doing so.
Hazelight Studios is rejoicing as their game It takes Two has surpassed the seven million sales milestone. The studio announced this on Twitter and posted a photo. Since its release last year, the game of togetherness has won multiple awards - and rightly so. It takes Two is a terrific two player experience not to be missed. In our review confirmed how good the game ended up being.
Declaration of love to couch co-op
It takes Two won a prize for its exceptional game design at the DICE Awards. So the title had long since attracted attention. Reaching the new milestone is no big surprise either. Hazelight Studios only reported breaking the five million mark at the beginning of the year, in October 2021 they could already look back on three million game sales.
It takes Two is particularly innovative because of its gameplay concept: It is a pure co-op game. On PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One or PC, two players experience a multitude of grandiose game sequences that can only be solved with teamwork. The mini-games are as stylish as the overall look. Although it is mostly colorful and childish, there is also a comparatively serious story behind the game.
