On Saturday, November 3, 2018, the Imperathomas Charity Con will be a meeting (not only) for fans of George Lucas' sci-fantasy saga Star Wars at the Science Park in Gelsenkirchen. All proceeds from the convention benefit the German Children's Cancer Aid Foundation.
In addition to exhibitors, dealers and cosplayers, numerous guest stars from the films will be in Gelsenkirchen to give autographs. Tickets are available online or can be purchased at the box office.
Star Wars in the middle of Gelsenkirchen
If you don't have any plans for the coming weekend, maybe you're even a Star Wars fan or at least can get something out of space stories, you should look towards Gelsenkirchen. On Saturday, November 3, 2018, the Science Park (Munscheidstraße 14) will host the first Imperathoma's Charity Con 2018 instead.
The entire concept of the event is geared towards charitable purposes, with the majority of the proceeds going to the German Cancer Aid Foundation. If that alone isn't enough of a reason to visit: numerous guest stars from the films, artists and cosplayers will be there to sign autographs or have their picture taken with fans.
The appearance of Hans Georg-Panczak should be particularly exciting for German Star Wars fans. Panczak is not just the patron of the Imperathoma's Charity Con, but the voice behind Luke Skywalker, the central hero of George Lucas' sci-fantasy saga.
Panels on various topics, workshops and a lightsaber show round off the colorful programme. As is usual for conventions of this size, there will be plenty of room for exciting discussions among like-minded people.
The Imperathoma's Charity Con starts on November 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. and ends at 18 p.m. Tickets at the price of 15 euros for children aged 12 and over are available on the Internet Eventbrite available or can be bought on site at the box office. Separate tickets for professional photo shoots with the guest stars and for autographs cost between 15 and 30 euros and are paid directly at the stand of the respective guest.
