Immortals Fenyx Rising is the new action adventure game from the makers of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in a mythological setting, players slip into the role of Fenyx, a demigod who is supposed to protect his homeland from a dark curse. An animation trailer shows more about the story behind the game - and Ubisoft has now published a making-of video for precisely this film snippet.
The French publisher released the making-of video for the new Immortals Fenyx Rising animated trailer. In cooperation with Ubisoft, the animation team "CRCR" was able to enrich the story of the action-adventure game. A talented team of animators and animators created a Japanese animation-style trailer that combined with Greek mythology allowed to reinterpret the world of the game.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is developed by Ubisoft Quebec, the studio that is also behind Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the direct predecessor of the new series offshoot Assassin's Creed Valhalla. With Immortals Fenyx, the French publisher is relying on a completely new brand, which however again revolves around mythological adventures.

Players take on the role of Fenyx, a winged demigod on a mission to save the Greek gods and their homeland from a dark curse. In the course of the game, players learn the powers of the gods, have to pass heroic tests and face powerful opponents - they basically only have one goal: to confront Typhon, the deadliest titan in Greek mythology.
Ubisoft had already released the animation trailer. In this short animated film created by CLM BBDO, demigod Fenyx battles mythological creatures such as the Minotaur, Cyclops and Griffin while The Heavy's "How You Like Me Now" plays in the background. Using the sword of Achilles, the ax of Atalanta and the bow of Odysseus, Fenyx defeats the monsters one by one.

Immortals Fenyx Rising will be released on December 3rd on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, Epic Games and Ubisoft Connect PC. The game will also be available on Luna, Stadia and Ubisoft +, Ubisoft's subscription service.
