Borderlands 3 is celebrating its birthday. And how could the black-humored loot shooter celebrate the best day of his jubilee? exactly, by simply celebrating himself! Five weeks of mini-events and various surprise goodies to celebrate the anniversary of Borderlands 3.
Even two years after its launch, Borderlands 3 is unstoppable thanks to the unmatched Borderlands community! A lot of chaos has been caused since last year's review, including the long-awaited crossplay update, game additions such as Crazy Earl's re-throw machine and Maurice's black market machine and the start of the Director's Cut add-on with his raid boss, story missions, Behind-the-scenes content and chamber maps.
Borderlands 3: Two years of shooting and booty
To celebrate the second anniversary of Borderlands 3 on September 13, 2021, the community can look forward to five weeks of mini-events as a thank you for their enthusiasm and support! Fan-favorite Loot the Universe is now back with a series of mini-events that have tons of legendary loot to visit (and shoot) planetary landmarks.
During the Loot the Universe event, each week a different Borderlands 3 planet becomes a bastion of better drops with increased chances of certain types of legendary loot in one of the respective planetary zones. Players can keep any legendary bonus loot they find during the mini-events.
The community has to find out where and which types of legendary loot are waiting, so here are the following dates for the calendar:
- Week 1 (August 12th 18:19 p.m. EDT to August 17 59:XNUMX p.m. EDT) - Pandora;
- Week 2 (August 19 18:26 p.m. EDT to August 17 59:XNUMX p.m. EDT) - Promethea;
- Week 3 (August 26th 18:2 pm CEST to September 17nd 59:6 pm CEST) - Eden-XNUMX;
- Week 4 (September 2, 18 p.m. EDT to September 9, 17:59 p.m. EDT) - Nekrotafeyo.
After the galactic tour, the fun is far from over: On September 9th at 18 p.m. CEST, two other mini-events will begin in parallel (and end a week later): Mayhem Made Mild with only slight modifiers in Chaos mode and Show Me the Eridium with increased Eridium drops and discounts on Eridium items. Even more is planned for the big day on September 13th, but this should be a surprise! More details will be available as Borderlands 3's second birthday approaches.
