The beta of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint runs from September 5th to 9th. In addition, the French publisher Ubisoft has announced the roadmap for the content of the first year and released a new video in which actor Jon Bernthal presents himself as the leader of the “Wolves”. More Ghost Recon: Breakpoint does not work so shortly before the start of the closed beta.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint: Roadmap shows plans for the first year

In preparation for the start of the closed beta of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, the developers have released an atmospheric video that shows Jon Bernthal in his role as the unscrupulous leader of the “Wolves”. Cole D Walker, as his video game character is named, wasn't born to be the leader of the Wolves - he was made to be. The new trailer shows how this came about and what circumstances led to Walker's change of sides. The “Wolves” are a group that uses high-tech drones from the - made available through the takeover of the Skell Technology concern.

While the closed beta of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint only contains parts of the game, including the Smuggler Coves, Mount Hodgson, Sinking Country and Fen Bog areas, players can look forward to regular expansions with the release. At the start the main story “Operation Greenstone” will be published.

So that fans already know what to expect from Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in the future, Ubisoft has announced plans for new content in the first year. Players pick up during the first season new adventures back that complement the main story of the game.

Also new Endgame features there will be, including the raid “Project Titan” in episode 1: four players can explore a volcano. Also to be added new faction missions, because the factions in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint should develop over time - along the story or the character development. Live events, new missions and unlockable items are also part of the roadmap.

The reference to three new classes be added in the first year. The first of these is the engineer who naturally uses technical gimmicks, for example for hacking. For those who would rather fight against each other than together, the announcements are for the PvP-Area relevant: Ubisoft plans to provide new maps and updates in the first year.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will be released on October 4th for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and later also for the Google Stadia streaming service. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is also part of Ubisoft's Play + premium subscription.
