The Ghost Recon: Breakpoint beta runs from September 5th to 9th. Ubisoft has already sent out a large number of beta codes – if you still didn't get anything, you can hope that a code owner will step in and make participation possible. Anyone who already has access to the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint closed beta can invite up to three friends. In addition, French publisher Ubisoft has announced the roadmap for year one content and released a new video featuring actor Jon Bernthal as the leader of the Wolves. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint: Roadmap shows plans for the first year

In preparation for the start of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint's closed beta, the developers have released an atmospheric video showing Jon Bernthal in his role as the ruthless leader of the "Wolves". Cole D Walker, the name of his video game character, wasn't born to be the leader of the Wolves - he was made to be. The new trailer shows how it came about and the circumstances that led to Walker's change of sides. The "Wolves" are a faction using highly engineered drones from the - made available through the acquisition of the Skell Technology corporation. 

While the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint closed beta only contains parts of the game, including the areas of Smuggler Coves, Mount Hodgson, Sinking Country and Fen Bog, players can look forward to regular expansions with Release. At launch, the main story, Operation Greenstone, will be released.

So that fans already know what to expect from Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in the future, Ubisoft has announced plans for new content in the first year. Players pick up during the first season new adventures back that complement the main story of the game.

Also new Endgame features there will be, including the "Project Titan" raid in Episode 1: four players can then explore a volcano. Also be added new faction missions, because the factions in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint should develop over time - along the story or the character development. Live events, new missions and unlockable items are also part of the roadmap.

The reference to three new classes be added in the first year. The first of these is the engineer who naturally uses technical gimmicks, for example for hacking. For those who would rather fight against each other than together, the announcements are for the PvP-Area relevant: Ubisoft plans to provide new maps and updates in the first year.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will be released on October 4th for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and later also for the Google Stadia streaming service. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is also part of Ubisoft's Play + premium subscription.
