On the first weekend in December, comic fans will probably flock to Dortmund in droves. The German Comic Con Dortmund will take place there on December 1st and 2nd for the fourth time. There are numerous film and television stars, comic artists, cosplayers and tons of comics. Tickets for the German Comic Con Dortmund are available on the Internet and can also be bought on site in the Westfallenhallen.
German Comic Con Dortmund: Stars, starlets, comics
There are few places in the world where Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal and Franco Nero meet. New York? No. Beverly Hills? Perhaps. Dortmund? Definitely!
When the German Comic Con – and with it a big comic party – takes place in Dortmund's Westfalenhallen next weekend, countless stars and starlets from the film and television world will be there. Including not only the three action heroes mentioned, but also Gwendoline Christie, known from Game of Thrones and Star Wars, La Toya Jackson, Lena Headey, Robert Patrick – even the nasty part-time ruler Joffrey Baratheon aka Jack Gleeson will be a guest.
The colorful program of German Comic Con Dortmund offers something for every taste: panels, workshops, photo shoots, walk-arounds through recreated film sets, cosplay action and of course Comic World. The comic event in the Westfallenhallen will definitely be unrelenting.
Tickets for the event are available for adults from 25 euros, children pay from ten euros. The German Comic Con Dortmund is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m., on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m. Holders of VIP tickets are allowed into the halls from 9 a.m.
