The latest installment in the Gears of War series, Gears 5, will be released September 10 in an 18+ uncut version. Microsoft recently announced this in parallel with the announcement of the gold status of the video game. Subscribers to Microsoft Game Pass Ultimate or who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5 can play four days early as part of Early Access. The game will also be part of the Xbox trade show appearance at Gamescom 2019.
The developers - and probably also the fans - are very excited about the latest part of the series. Gears of War is one of the most popular Xbox game series and has delighted gamers with fast, hard fights and cool characters since 2006. Regardless of whether players get to know the latest chapters of Kait's fate or fumigate the underground nests of the Horde - everyone should get their money's worth in the most comprehensive title in the Gears universe to date, the developers promise. Gears 5 is released uncut with USK 18 approval and combines a thrilling story with nerve-wracking battles - both in single player and in multiplayer mode.
Gears 5 at Gamescom
To get fans in the mood for the launch of Gears 5, the developers are unveiling the next milestone on the Gamescom 2019. In the Inside Xbox episode on Monday, August 19th from 17pm, the makers will present the brand new Horde mode, followed by the world premiere of the new Gears 5 campaign gameplay at the opening show “Gamescom: Opening Night Live“ starting at 20 pm

To fuel the anticipation, the developers have the Complete Achievement List for Gears 5 published: Players can add 71 achievements to their gamerscore, for example, spanning Campaign, Escape, Versus, Horde, Map Builder and other modes.
Defeat 50 waves in the horde or complete an escape maneuver without firing a single shot: committed players must master various challenges while collecting up to 1.000 achievement points in Gears 5.

Gears 5 will be released on September 10th for Xbox One, Windows 10 PC and Xbox Game Pass.
