With the end of the early booking phase, the organizers of Gamescom, Koelnmesse and game — the German games industry association, are looking forward to the end of August. Not only is the number of companies already registered higher than at the same time last year, but the large number of international exhibitors already suggests a great Gamescom 2023 expected.
Although the early bird phase in 2022 was two months later than this year, Gamescom 2023 is already recording a 10 percent increase in registered companies compared to the reporting date. These come from 39 countries, and numerous country pavilions have already been confirmed. Among others, there are: Australia, the Gamescom partner country Brazil, Belgium, China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Canada, Malta, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Spain, South Korea and the USA.
Gamescom: 10 percent more registered companies
The early bird phase of devcom ended at the same time as Gamescom. Already two months earlier than the start of sales in 2022, the official Gamescom developer conference is happy about hundreds of registered participants and a full event agenda.

The fact that this achievement has been well received in the industry and beyond is already shown by the strong interest during the early bird phase. Without going into detail, I promise that the community can look forward to one or two large companies that were still on hold last year. At the same time, we already have well-known market leaders from the exhibitor segments newly announced for 2023 - such as streaming or table top games - on board. Die-hard GamescomFans as well as interested parties from linked communities can therefore equally look forward to the Gamescom 2023."
