Real Horror: At this year's Game Awards, Raw Fury today announced its partnership with indie developer Red Soul Games, as well as the planned joint release of the debut project Post Trauma. This is an extraordinary experience with fixed camera angles and modern imagery inspired by the retro classics of the genre.
The game's new gameplay trailer was unveiled last night and showcases the game's unique design, intense atmosphere, creative puzzles and immersive audiovisual direction.
Animations need more love
Post Trauma centers on Roman, a middle-aged man who wakes up in a strange and hostile place and must find his way back home to his family. Players explore the world from fixed camera perspectives that add to the oppressive feeling of being watched.
In order to solve the puzzles and survive, the players should first explore their own environment and gather information (perhaps you should always have a notepad at hand on this journey). You must find a way to kill or avoid the monsters lurking in the darkness. However, not every creature they encounter is automatically hostile to them.
Post Trauma is the first title from Red Soul Games, a new studio founded by indie developer Roberto Serra Gascón. The game started with the passion of a one-man project, for which Gascón left his job in 2021 to work full-time on game development, sharing regular updates with the community on Twitter, and steadily building a loyal base of fans and content creators build up. The formation of Red Soul Games will allow the project to hire additional staff as needed to make Gascón's vision a reality.
However, one detail stands out: the animations seem a bit stiff and should be improved before the release. Post Trauma is being developed for both PC and consoles and can already be added to your Steam wishlist.
