At the beginning of the year the new Fantastic Beasts film came out, recently a release date for the long-awaited action role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy was finally announced with February 10th, 2023 and in the course of this year we can expect five more board games in the Harry Potter universe. Asmodee is releasing a new family game based on the magical film series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Here 1 to 6 players explore New York with well-known characters from the films in one of three modes. Of these, two are competitive and one is cooperative. In the game itself you try to recapture escaped beasts and you can collect powerful spells and magical artifacts that will help you in the hunt.

Cortex Challenge Harry Potter
There is another thematic change for the Cortex Challenge series of games. With Cortex Challenge Harry Potter, the brain, memory and reaction time challenging game for 2 to 6 players is also relaunched by Asmodee. Here you compete against each other in eight different types of tasks that put all kinds of brain functions to the test in the environment of the magical world. Tasks can be, for example, wizard duels, unique patrons or the hunt for the golden snitch. The person who completes their Hogwarts puzzle first wins the game.

Stupor! Harry Potter
Stupor! Harry Potter by Repos Production 4 to 8 players wand duels with their own wands. A game runs over eight rounds, in which everyone prepares a spell and points their wand at an opponent. As a spell, Stupor can be cast to attack and Protego to defend. Witches and wizards who win the wizard duel receive rewards and collect points for their respective houses. However, if you get shocked, you can lose points.

Harry Potter wizard rates
Harry Potter Wizard Guess has just been introduced and includes the Hogwarts Crest that magically guesses which Harry Potter character you're thinking of.
