The development studio Firaxis and publisher 2K Games have announced that the successful strategy game Civilization 6 will be released on November 22nd for PS4 and Xbox One - then with the option of accessing all published expansions. The new content from Civilization VI: Rise and Fall and Civilization VI: Gathering Storm should also be available as a bundle. After the successful start of the turn-based strategy game on the Nintendo Switch, other console players will soon be able to control the fate of their favorite civilizations.

Civilization 6 continues its triumphant advance. The extremely popular - and time-consuming - round strategy game will also be released in November for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Firaxis recently confirmed both implementations ( ). A new trailer that was published for the console release provides first impressions.

If Civilization 6 is released for Xbox One and Playstation 4, it will be at an extremely attractive price. The main game, with which fans can already spend hundreds of hours on the gamepads, should cost 49,99 euros. The new content from the expansions Civilization 6: Rise and Fall and Civilization 6: Gathering Storm are also available at the start of the main game, although not included, but as a bundle at a price of 39,99 euros.

The bundle offers an additional 18 leaders of civilizations. So that Switch players don't have to look down the tube, the bundle will also be available for Nintendo Switch on November 22nd.

We can't wait to invite new players to join the more than 5,5 million Civilization 6 fans around the world.
Melissa Bell, Senior Vice President of Marketing at 2K

The console version includes the four scenario packages for Poland, Australia, the Vikings as well as Persia and Macedonia. In addition, there will be a promotion in cooperation with Sony, within the framework of which players can access the Nubia scenario and the Khmer and Indonesia scenario. The packages are optionally available for Xbox One.

The new launch trailer offers a foretaste of Civilization 6 for consoles.

The fact that Civilization can be played on consoles from Microsoft and Sony is not entirely new. Round strategy players were able to play Civilization: Revolution on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 around eleven years ago. The now published implementation of Civilization 6 is not a stripped-down version, but the full title with all the content that fans expect from the Civ series. Important for console gamers and already confirmed by Firaxis are revisions to the user controls and the user interface.

Civilization 6 for Xbox One and Playstation 4 will be released on November 22nd - as will the expansion bundles.
