From the fourth quarter of 2022, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed from IllFonic, the experts in asymmetric multiplayer, will let players fire up their Ecto-1 and play on PC via Epic Games Sore, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One Go hunting for the supernatural.
Armed with a proton backpack, ghost trap and the useful PKE meter, four brave Ghostbusters set out on a hunt for a malevolent spirit that is terrorizing public places. Working together, they can find the ghost, pin down the slimy enemy with the currents of the particle launcher, and strike with the trap at just the right moment. You must keep the citizens calm and capture the spirit before the environment becomes too spooky.

As a ghost, players are tasked with frightening unsuspecting citizens in various locations. The Ghost isn't afraid of the Ghostbusters, of course, as it can fly and teleport between the Rifts. If they hide in objects, they can sneak past the hunters and startle passers-by. If that's not enough, slime and spooky minions can help. There is a choice of different ghosts with different abilities that will help to make each location completely haunted.
Before each battle, the Ghostbuster's or Ghost's appearance can be set in the iconic Fire Station, and skills and equipment can be upgraded. In addition, something can be practiced with the particle launcher and its modifications. Winston Zeddemore, voiced by Ernie Hudson, hands out missions there and old and new friends like Dan Aykroyd's Ray Stantz pass on knowledge from "Ray's Occult Books".
Crossplatform multiplayer allows Ghostbusters to team up whether they're playing on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, or Xbox Series X|S and One. AI teammates can help fill up battles and also make single play offline possible.
