FIFA 20: EA is giving away ingame coins

All players who log into FIFA 17 by October 20th will receive 8.000 Volta Coins - a currency that they can use to spruce up their avatars. In addition, rewards can be unlocked in the Volta mode as part of a new Squad Building Challenge.

The numbers sound impressive: ten million players, across all modes, have played a total of 450 million games and scored around 1,2 billion goals.

The Ultimate Team Mode is apparently the main point of contact: the team captains and their teams have played over 272 FUT matches, and the Rivals division accounts for over 138 games.

The Volta mode is also popular. Players have created more than five million avatars for the quick matches. The favorite places to play are in the backyards of Rome, Lagos, London, Cape Town and Berlin.
