On June 30th, Bethesda will release the 20th update to Fallout 76 - at the same time the first season with the title “The Legendary Run” will start. This was announced by the development team in the current issue of “From the Vault”. Season 1 of Fallout 76 will then run until mid-September.

Bethesda never tires of continuing to plow Fallout 76. After the very successful Waylanders update (here our Game test in addition) the developers are now starting the first season under the motto “The Legendary Run” in the online Fallout, the start of which Bethesda had imagined completely different at the time.

Fallout 76: Season 1 contains "a load of rewards"

Anyone who is otherwise annoyed about the cost structure of Fallout 76 will be relieved: Season 1 and all upcoming seasons will be available to all players free of charge. Bethesda announced this at the end of May. It remains to be seen whether other monetization options will be exploited or introduced.

With each season, players will work their way through 100 ranks by collecting “SCORE” points, such as completing daily or weekly challenges. There are then rewards for each advancement. Alternatively, if you want to save time, you can upgrade a rank for 150 atoms. Bethesda will enable this option for the first two weeks after the start of the season, i.e. from July 1st to 14th.

With each season, players in Fallout 76 can unlock new rewards, including lunch boxes that grant a 25 percent buff to experience points - for the player himself and for players around him. In addition, there is a random one-hour bonus effect, such as additional damage.

Helpful: If several lunch boxes are opened, the XP bonus can increase to up to 100 percent, so that multiple openings do not "fizzle out". There will also be an ammunition converter that will allow players to get exactly the ammunition they actually need.

Much more exciting, however, is the possibility of unlocking new power armor sets, including the atomic attack power armor and a black and white variant of the Captain Cosmos power armor.

Season 1 of Fallout 76 starts on June 30th. Then “The Legendary Run” will run until mid-September and should fill the summer slump a little for fans. Fallout 76 is available for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
