Horrible Guild has announced the abstract strategy game Evergreen for the fourth quarter of 2022.
The game is for 1-4 players aged 8 and up and will last around 45 minutes. The game's author is Hjalma Hach, who launched his game some time ago Photosynthesis won some awards.

At Evergreen, it's your job rich ecosystem to build. To do this, you sow seeds or grow trees. This is the only way you can make your planet the greenest and most fertile.
In each round you draw a card from the drafting pool and thus determines the area of your planet in which you become active in this round: You can plant plants or let your trees grow. Lakes can help you grow your trees faster, and bushes connect your wooded areas into a larger forest.
In each round you collect points for the largest forest and the collected sunlight (so you have to take this aspect into account when placing your trees, because large trees cast a shadow).
It is also interesting that the unchosen cards from the pool are not simply removed from the game, but in the final scoring still play a role.
