After releases of "Earthfall: Alien Horde" for Playstation 4, PC-Steam and the Xbox family of devices, the cooperative first-person shooter for four players will also be released on October 11, 2019 for Nintendo Switch. This was announced by the newly founded game developer Nimble. This means that a title in the style of Left 4 Dead will soon be available on the hybrid console, in which players need unconditional cooperative agreements.
In addition to Earthfall, in its full scope and with all updates, Earthfall: Alien Horde brings an online co-op mode as well as a new, local wireless co-op mode for four players exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Earthfall: Alien Horde will be available from Nintendo eShop for 19,99 euros, according to Nimble.
Cooperative first-person shooter for four people
Instead of zombies, four players shoot at aliens. The shooter based on the model of a "Left 4 Dead" offers 15 locations including eleven campaign chapters, five invasion maps and various unlockable items on the Nintendwo Switch. Players not only compete online, but also via a wireless local co-op mode. Aspiring alien hunters battle hordes of procedurally generated alien threats designed to make each game session different.
Bringing Earthfall: Alien Horde to Nintendo Switch is a crucial step for us. Russell Williams, Nimble
In the role of a story-based character - there are a total of four characters to choose from - players fight their way through an alien-infested plot and use modern weapons and printable guns. The launch trailer for Earthfall: Slien Horde gives a first impression.
With strategically placed barricades, players electrify or set fire to the alien plague. They use automatic turrets to create an ideal alien death zone or set up manned turrets for superior firepower.
The ability to play with your friends anywhere - online or wirelessly locally - is just fun and a feature that works very well with our cooperative FPS for four players. The Switch is a great console, and Earthfall: Alien Horde is great on the Switch. We hope everyone will have fun taking on the apocalyptic alien hordes and their rulers. Russell Williams, Nimble
Behind the development of Earthfall: Alien Horde is Studio Nimble, a game development studio based just outside of Seattle, Washington.
