The Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen will be home to the "Global Masters" e-sports festival. The world's largest event of this kind is taking place in the middle of the Ruhr area to celebrate digital sport. The organizer ally4ever Event GmbH will bring international professional teams from the esports scene to the Ruhr metropolis of Gelsenkirchen from July 17 to 19, 2020. Tickets for the Global Masters are available from November 15th available in advance.

The Global Masters should be the new highlight in the eSport event calendar 2020 and set new standards in the festival and entertainment industry. Professional esports athletes from around the world compete in a variety of disciplines including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Prize Money Wins. As if that weren't enough, the arriving fans should be offered a lot more.
Themed areas provide entertainment
The focus of the Global Masters in Gelsenkirchen is not only on the competition - there is also a lot to offer fans away from the screens. Different areas attract with different themed areas and five international music acts provide the background music to underline the real festival character. Star DJ Robin Schulz will produce the official anthem for the Global Masters.
Everything at the festival revolves around e-sports. The Veltins-Arena, otherwise the living room of Schalke fans, with around 60.000 seats offers ideal conditions for thrilling e-sports action. For visitors of legal age, a separate 4.000+ exhibitor area is offered in the neighboring Emscher Lippe Hall with a capacity of 18 spectators. Tournaments with the appropriate age rating, such as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, are also held there.

In the outdoor area, the outdoor area in car park P7, the organizers are setting up play stations where fans can test new - or popular - multiplayer video games. In a separate clan area, visitors can meet their favorites from the esports scene or use the mouse and keyboard themselves to compete against each other. A supporting program rounds off the variety of entertainment on offer.
The seventh ADAC SimRacing Expo, one of the world's largest events in this field, will also be part of the Global Masters. The now established event in the SimRacing scene will be held for the first time as an event series in three different locations in Germany in 2020 and has already attracted thousands of motorsport-enthusiastic gamers to the Nürburgring in recent years.
If you want to travel specifically to the Global Masters, the camping area offers a suitable service. According to the organizers, a separate camping area with a shuttle bus connection is to be set up on the GelsenTrabPark on an area of around 80.000 square meters, including a large entertainment area, for visitors who are looking for a cheap place to stay or who want to spend the entire weekend at the Global Masters .
