Dune Imperium is a long-running hit that has kept its fire burning through the release of expansions. Now Dire Wolf is going one better: the strategy game is being released as a video game adaptation.
The board game Dune Imperium has been extremely well received by fans; the expansions have made the strategic title even better with the mix of worker placement and deck building. Without the new content, as a fan of the franchise or board game, you should ideally not play at all in order to be able to enjoy the full load of fun. Now Dune Imperium is entering a new round.

What will be particularly exciting for fans, however, is the video game adaptation, which allows you to play Dune Imperium wherever a computer is currently available. The digital board game starts on November 14th Early access on Valve's games platform Steam.
The gameplay remains unchanged, which is good. Because: Dune Imperium is already a stunner as a board game. The look is also closely based on the original, so it remains comparatively sober. However, some effects and of course sound and music ultimately create a video game feeling.
In Dune Imperium – Digital you will be able to fight online and locally and also against House Hagal (AI). What's particularly exciting is the rotating battle mode, in which games should differ significantly from one another.
The mix of deck building and worker placement remains in the digital version of Dune Imperium. It's about generating resources, buying cards for the deck and gradually working towards a tactical orientation in order to ultimately climb up the score track. In the video game version, there will be opportunities to earn achievements and complete challenges for motivation. The game's texts are completely localized in German.
