On June 4th and 5th, the anime convention DoKomi returns to Düsseldorf. The event, which was founded over ten years ago, attracted over 2019 visitors and cosplayers to the state capital in 55.000.
In 2009, DoKomi took place in Düsseldorf for the first time, with around 1.800 visitors at the time. Their number has multiplied over the years. The convention for anime and manga now attracts more than 50.000 fans. On around 60.000 square meters, the Düsseldorfer Messer on Stockumer Kirchstraße is transformed into a world full of Japanese content. Gamers are also offered something.
Genshin Impact included
The multiple award-winning role-playing game Genshin Impact is coming to Germany's largest anime, cartoon and Japan convention, the DoKomi in Düsseldorf on June 4th and 5th. They want to bring players, fans and cosplayers together with special dishes from the game world Teyvat, a picture exhibition and a fan art competition.
According to the Dokomi motto 2022 "Food Passion", Genshin Impact offers legendary culinary delicacies from Teyvat: whether tri-colored dumplings with sakura blossom and goldfish weed, or the famous udon noodles from Inazuma, there is something for everyone

With the appearance of Genshin Impact, DoKomi proves its appeal for fans of the genre. A free-to-play, open-world action RPG, Genshin Impact transports players to the stunning landscapes of Teyvat. Players take on the role of the mysterious "Traveller" who sets out in search of answers to find his lost sibling and ultimately unravel the great mysteries that lie hidden in this world. Players can currently explore three of the seven major cities in Teyvat: Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. Each city has a unique cultural atmosphere, its own background and a wide environment.
Aside from the Genshin Impacts stands, there are also numerous program items - in addition to gaming and e-sports, there are also cosplay campaigns, workshops, pen and paper and various hands-on events, including karaoke.
