The Lorcana board game "The Beginner" guides greenhorns through the basic rules and the specific intricacies of the card game involving Elsa, Mickey, Stitch and co - without any sense of rush and with a large portion of fun.

The first trading card game, "Magic: The Gathering," came onto the market in the early 1990s. The next titles followed shortly afterwards. Some TCGs have already celebrated their thirtieth birthday. A period of time in which it is hardly surprising that a new start is fraught with hurdles for beginners. But now, unlike the rule with well-known player magnets such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon, the board game from Ravensburger offers a guided introduction that - I dare say - makes the transition to all systems easier for beginners. Ultimately, it is a clever innovation that takes the elitism out of the trading card society.

Anyone who has been playing for a while will know that the basic rules of trading card games are usually similar. The lore, however, is the biggest difference. This is also the case with Disney Lorcana. The board game guides the Luminaris, as the players call themselves, step by step and in simple terms through the game mechanics.
