Finally announced at BlizzCon 2019, Diablo 4 is causing a stir almost every day. The Game Informer portal has now published gameplay material for the three previously known classes. For around 20 minutes each, fans can watch the barbarian, druid and sorceress as hordes of monsters are beaten up.

It was to be expected that the barbarian and also the sorceress would return as playable classes in Diablo 4. On the other hand, fans had hoped that the druid would also get a new appearance. Detailed gameplay videos now provide first impressions of the action-packed gameplay of the latest offshoot from the Diablo universe. The druid is in no way inferior to his cronies: just like the shapeshifter from Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, he attacks opponents with animal and magical attacks.
Diablo 4: gameplay video shows barbarian, sorceress and druid
The gameplay is similar to its predecessor, but Blizzard proves that you can still surprise fans with Diablo 4 - with the appearance of the druid, for example, who is a real fan favorite. After gameplay videos on the barbarian and the sorceress, the magic-proven shapeshifter can now show what he can do. He attacks hordes of monsters with natural magic and shapeshifting. Like the sorceress, he partly commands the power of the elements - for example, by the druid creating storms and letting them loose on his opponents.
The highlight of the Druid in Diablo 4: He masters melee attacks and long-range attacks, so that he can probably be well adapted to the play style of the player.

As if that weren't exciting enough, the barbarian rocks the monster-infested world in a 20-minute gameplay video. Hop, club, buff: the barbarian has a high recognition value in Diablo 4.
The gameplay is similar to its predecessors, but due to the changed game design it should be easier to customize than in the days of Diablo 3. As in his best times, the barbarian pounds his opponents in close combat:

The sorceress, who hurls fireballs, ice lances and lightning at her enemies, seems to be no less action-packed. In addition, the magic expert seems to be very mobile again: Teleport makes it possible.
The sorceress’s strengths are probably in long-range combat again, although some melee specializations are likely to be made possible.

It will probably be a long time before the release of Diablo 4. By then, Blizzard should have introduced the other playable classes. Currently only the barbarian, sorceress and druid are officially known, but according to a leak, the amazon and the paladin should also be playable. According to Leak, the necromancer is also under discussion as a class in Diablo 4, but - as with Diablo 3 - it should be submitted later.
The leak also gives up on a possible beta date Reddit Information: The beta for Diablo 4 should start in 2020, the release of the game could then - quite realistically - be in 2021. If Blizzard is following a timetable with its in-house titles, then the year 2021 is almost perfect for Diablo 4. In 2020 the new WoW expansion will appear and in 2022 another add-on for World of Warcraft could follow - in between would be the release of Diablo 4.
Incidentally, the leak is not entirely pulled by the hair. The source that has now revealed the two other classes to Diablo 4 has also informed in advance of the upcoming announcement of the new Diablo offshoot at Blizzcon 2019.
