The sequel to the sci-fi adventure Deliver Us The Moon is out this week on the Gamescom Playable in 2022 and can be pre-ordered now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Story is at the heart of Deliver Us Mars. The trailer shows how KeokeN Interactive builds on the critically acclaimed first game in the series, Deliver Us The Moon, bringing the characters to life with the help of motion capture actors. A suitably branching and powerful story awaits players.
In Deliver Us Mars, players assume the role of aspiring astronaut Kathy Johanson. The trailer clarifies the intricate nature of Kathy's in-game motivation: To protect humanity's future, Kathy wants to help retrieve technology from Mars that can save Earth. This is the ultimate goal of the mission. But she also wants to find out if her missing father Isaac is still alive. A mysterious transmission from the red planet suggests that it might at least be possible. However, this goal is not shared by her crew.
As a standalone sequel, Deliver Us Mars has made a big step forward compared to its predecessor, also in terms of game mechanics. Players will enjoy precise climbing mechanics reminiscent of classic action platformers. In addition, Deliver us Mars challenges players with puzzle-like puzzles that become more and more difficult as the game progresses.
