Pegasus Spiele released Season 2023 of the compact MiniCrimes series in 1, in which, among other things, the death of a famous Italian chess master and the demise of a goldfish must be solved. Now, with Season 2, six more, each independent case awaits aspiring investigators.
In the new MiniCrimes cases, players must once again work together to solve one of six crimes: be it the murder of the owner of a car repair shop in Fatal Oil Change or the lead researcher of a high-tech company in Fatal Decision, the theft of valuable ancient artifacts in The Cat's Business Card, or the mysterious death of an engineer in Faulty Image, a famous archaeologist in Digging Too Deep, or a wealthy nobleman in Silent Night. Not only should players answer the classic "whodunnit?" question, but they should also solve two additional questions to clarify the case, as these earn additional points if answered correctly.
Each case contains a large map of the crime scene and ten small clue cards, which can be used to examine selected objects at the crime scene more closely if necessary. Ideally, however, the case should be solved as quickly as possible, because after the sixth clue card has been consulted, each additional clue card used results in negative points.
One to six aspiring investigators aged ten and up can hone their investigative skills with these easy-to-follow MiniCrimes. Additionally, their compact pocket-sized format makes them ideal as a small gift or for on-the-go use.
