Paradox Interactive today announced that Across the Obelisk, the cooperative deck-building game from Dreamsite Games, will be available later this year for all console platforms, beginning today with the launch for Nintendo Switch.
Across the Obelisk, a roguelite deck-building RPG with a unique cooperative multiplayer experience, will allow players to form parties and play together across all platforms the game is available on. Multiplayer is already available on PC and Nintendo Switch, and will also be available to players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S when the game releases for those platforms later this year.
Play Across the Obelisk – no matter where
"We've always wanted Across the Obelisk to feel like playing in a role-playing group, and now our players can team up with their friends no matter where they're playing," says Javier de Miguel, game developer at Dreamsite Games. "We want strategy to focus on building the right decks, not how to get a group together, so we're thrilled to be able to offer a completely open multiplayer experience like this. We've even made sure players don't have to worry about who has which DLC - if you own any of the story expansions for Across the Obelisk, anyone in your group can play it with you."
Across the Obelisk is a dynamic rogue-lite game that offers a unique multiplayer twist on classic deck-building. The game challenges players to assemble a party of diverse characters, compete in tactical, card-based combat, and find a unique path through a world that changes in response to their decisions. Playable alone or with up to three friends, Across the Obelisk offers a different experience every time you play through, with its branching world paths, highly customizable heroes, hundreds of different cards with variable upgrades, and more.
The game and all previously released DLCs are now available for Nintendo Switch. Across the Obelisk can be purchased for the recommended retail price of 24,99 euros or as part of the Starter Bundle, which includes the base game, the popular Sands of Ulminin expansion and the additional hero expansion Amelia, the Queen for the recommended retail price of 37,50 euros.
