Star Wars fans can certainly celebrate a little today, after all, they have two reasons to be happy: on the one hand, the new and final trailer for Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker has been released, on the other hand, fans can also see the new expansion to the Star Wars MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. Onslaught is now live on the servers.

First the bombastic trailer, then the release of the new expansion for Bioware's Star Wars MMORPG The Old Republic. In any case, fans have every reason to be happy.

The trailer for Star Wars Episode 9

A lot was puzzled in advance about when the final trailer for Star Wars Episode 9 would appear. That's the end of it: the final trailer was shown as part of a sports broadcast and is currently running millions of times on the screens.

The movie starts in Germany on December 18th and the trailer whets the appetite for the film. There's a lot to see: great settings, epic battles, spaceship action. All of this presumably with a clearly drilled out look. The trailer allows at least a first conclusion that JJ Abrams will bring the final part of the saga to the screens in a visually impressive way. Cinema tickets for the film can now be pre-ordered.

SWTOR: Onslaught is now playable

If you don't want to watch, but rather join in, you should log into the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic from today. The new Onslaught expansion is available for Bioware's multiplayer role-playing game and continues the story.

There's an all new story about the conflict between the Empire and the Galactic Republic. Once again, players will decide the fate of the galaxy while exploring the new planet Onderon and roaming the alleys of Mek-Sha. All of this using new class skills and with the help of a completely new type of item: tactical items that offer effects that have never been seen before.

Because Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG, new group content is also included, including the Corellia Battlefield Flashpoint. In addition, Bioware has implemented a new operation that takes place on Dxun, the largest moon of the planet Onderon. Additionally, players can unlock a new species, the Nautolans.
