There's a new trailer for Saber Interactive's Dakar Desert Rally. The largest open-world off-road racing game in the world will be released on October 4, 2022 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Players can travel back in time in style with two legendary '80s Dakar cars. For Deluxe Edition buyers, the DAF Truck Turbo-Twin and Ari Vatanen's Peugeot 405 Turbo 16 are immediately playable.
Dakar Desert Rally: More than 30 locations
Dakar Desert Rally offers an authentic experience with more than 30 locations full of races from the classic Dakar Rally. This also includes officially licensed vehicles, teams, drivers and a whole range of hardcore and arcade modes. Players drive through thousands of square kilometers of varied terrain with dynamic weather. Single and online multiplayer modes offer plenty of challenges for up to four players. Fans can also create their very own rally events using the road book editor.
The Deluxe Edition can now be pre-ordered for consoles and PC for 59,99 euros. This version includes the whole base game as well as the Season Pass with the classic DAF Truck Turbo-Twin and Peugeot 405 Turbo 16 at launch. Five more DLC packs are also included with a new map, new vehicles and two new rally events.
The standard edition of Dakar Desert Rally can also be pre-ordered for 39,99 euros.
Pre-ordering any version also unlocks the exclusive Audi RS Q e-tron. The car became the first electric vehicle to win a desert rally at the 2022 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and made history.
