The release of a video game is often a process, despite the establishment of release dates in the meantime. The currently most prominent example of this is CD Projekt Red's action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077. The game is due to be released on December 10th - and as the publisher has now stated in its quarterly report, the date is set. At least at the moment, further shifts are therefore not evident.

The creators had to postpone the publication of Cyberpunk 2077 several times. The action role-playing game was originally supposed to appear in April, but nothing came of it: in the meantime there were dates in September and November, now December 10th is the target date. In the past, the creators had postponed the game despite rock-solid release dates, which further fueled speculation about a possible renewed delay. Two weeks remain until the "actual" release. However, many negative factors would have to come together for the date to tip over. There also seems to be a streaming recording from someone who already has the game in their hands.
