CD Projekt Red, developers of the action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, has released a new video as part of a Night City Wire show. Among other things, new gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077 can be seen - for the first time on the Xbox One X and the recently released Xbox Series X. The game scenes shown are intended to give a first impression of the dark future of Night City before the players enter the open world game in December 2020.
Cyberpunk games are set in a dystopian society, they transport the player straight into a dark, dangerous and corrupt sci-fi story that is reminiscent of a film noir. Class differences are normal here and a dictatorial ruling government is up to mischief. At the same time, Cyberpunk's story takes place in a technologically highly impressive future, in which biohacks are the order of the day for the wealthy residents and immortality also plays an important role. Meanwhile, lower social classes live close to the abyss of their own existence. This series also includes the impressive open-world cyberpunk 2077, which takes place in Night City and in which Keanu Reeves takes on the role of Johnny Silverhand.
Cyberpunk 2077: Release expected on December 10th
Now the Cyberpunk 2077 development team from CD Projekt Red has released a Night City Wire special video. This is the first time gameplay that gamers have longed for on the Xbox One X and the new Xbox Series X will be seen. The video focuses entirely on the main protagonist of the game "V" and shows how he drives his ultra-modern sports car through Night City, explores buildings and shows us the first-person shooter mechanics of the Cyberpunk 2077 game in action. Meanwhile, the video repeatedly changes the perspective between the Xbox One X and the Xbox Series X to demonstrate the backward compatibility of the game. The publication of a PlayStation gameplay video is also planned, but no date is known yet. Information on this will be available via the official Cyberpunk 2077 channels.

CD Projekt Red has announced that the video game will soon be able to be played on the Playstation 4 and probably also backwards compatible on the Playstation 5. This means that players who bought the game for the PS4 or Xbox One can continue playing the game on the next-gen consoles where they left off last.
And as if the gameplay scenes weren't enough input to bridge the waiting time for at least a few minutes, CD Projekt Red added on directly in a new episode of Night City Wire. The fifth episode is about the music in Cyberpunk 2077 and Johnny Silverhand, the Cyberpunk 2077 version of Keanu Reaves.

The fact that the role-playing game will be available in eleven languages proves how ambitious the developers are at work.
After the third delay, Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire is slated to be released on December 10th on PC, Google Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One, and the game is slated for a free upgrade for the next-gen Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles in the near future | S included.
