Funcom exploits the license for video games in the Conan universe: in addition to an MMORPG and a sandbox survival game, Conan, the barbarian, is the godfather of a game for the third time. Conan Unconquered is the name of the title that is reminiscent of classic RTS games such as Age of Empires. Fast real-time strategy
The real-time strategy game Conan Unconquered is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2019. In terms of play, the title is reminiscent of a typical RTS (RealTime Strategy) with strong base defense elements. Players first form a fortress and build up an army and, ideally, destroy all their attacking opponents who, wave after wave, try to tear down the fortress walls. As is known from other Conan games, gigantic avatars play a major strategic role. Summoning powerful units can give players decisive advantages in a battle. Funcom doesn't want to ruin the first real-time strategy game in the Conan universe and has therefore bought in professional developers right from the start: the experienced studio Petroglyph, which has already developed titles like Star Wars: Empire at War developed.

Conan Unconquered can be played completely alone in solo mode, but can also be played online with an ally. The backstory of the game is based on the Black Colossus story, one of the original stories from the pen of Robert E. Howard.
