Competition for The Sims: Life by You Announced

Paradox Interactive today revealed more details about Life by You, the most modifiable and open life simulator developed by Paradox Tectonic of Berkley, California.

In Life by You, players will create humans and live their lives without loading screens. Paradox Tectonic is helmed by Rod Humble, a video game industry veteran known for pioneering life simulation. Life by You will be available in Early Access on September 12, 2023. Interested players can pre-order the game today in the Epic Games Store for a suggested retail price of 39,99 euros, and it can be added to the wish list on Steam.

Open world where everything is customizable

Life by You allows players to create and live out the lives of the people they create. And all this in an open game world where everything is customizable. Players start their households, build their houses, and tell the stories of life. With real-language conversations and the ability to switch from third-person to direct-control gameplay, players will connect with their humans on an emotional level. A wide range of creator tools and editors allow players to tweak every aspect of their experience and live life to the fullest - or break the rules as they see fit.
