Eleven games with touch controls are already available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. With the possibility of cloud gaming, Microsoft has expanded its Game Pass with a future-oriented service. The majority of the games can be controlled via Bluetooth controller, but touch operation is also available for some directly on the screen of the mobile device. The list of games with touch controls is currently manageable, but the number is constantly growing.

Thanks to Xbox Touch controls, members of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can use the opportunity to play games via the cloud (beta) directly with their smartphone or tablet. An external controller is not necessary, at least in these cases. There are now eleven titles available that support on-screen operation, including some high-profile ones.

Game Pass innovations can also be controlled “by touch”.

Last month, Minecraft Dungeons was the first game where touch controls were available at the start. The community has given Microsoft feedback - they seem to have used that, because ten more game titles have now been added to the list of games with touch control.

These include a number of pearls, such as the new narrative adventure Tell me Why or the Jump'n Run News Super Lucky's Tale. The Retro-Klopper also promises fun on smart end devices with touch controls Streets of Rage 4who had already provided great entertainment on the big screen.

Basically, smartphones and tablets are becoming more and more important as communication devices, also for console manufacturers. It is no coincidence that you can share your gaming experiences with the Xbox Series X at the push of a button:

These touch-controlled games are currently available through the Game Pass Ultimate cloud gaming service:

  • Dead Cells
  • Gucamelee! 2
  • Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
  • Hotshot racing
  • Killer Instinct
  • New Super Lucky's Tale
  • Slay The Spire
  • Streets of Rage 4
  • Tell Me Why
  • UnderMine

It is still a long way from being there. Microsoft's plan is to steadily expand the library of touch games. The new service has been available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers since September 15 at no extra charge. Microsoft thus trumps in the market of Game flat rates with an attractive overall package.

If you don't want to play by touch, you need a Bluetooth controller. It doesn't have to come from Microsoft. Razer and Nacon also offer corresponding peripherals. And even the Playstation DualShock 4 controller can be connected. In addition, there are now special accessories that are geared towards smartphone gaming, such as the Razer Kishi, which can be easily stowed away when folded.
