With the third and final chapter, the puzzle platformer BEAM concludes the story of Captain Martin and the AI-powered escape pod MARBLE. The physics puzzle-heavy puzzle platformer demands full concentration from its players, because new challenges, environmental puzzles and difficult skill passages await in the brand new environment.
Including the new chapter, BEAM offers around 12 hours of tricky gaming fun and, after its shipwreck, sends the player and his ball back to civilization through three futuristically designed main chapters. In order to reach the end of each level, the different gameplay mechanics of the different light beams must be used sensibly.
For example, while MARBLE can use orange light rays as a path using smoke, red light rays are elastic and act as a trampoline. A total of five different light beams with their respective properties provide variety. However, if you come into contact with fire, you start at the last checkpoint.
