Inspired by the famous Where's Waldo books, Sophia the Traveler offers a wonderful swarm of adventures with something to discover in every corner of the screen. The game was shown to members of the press for the first time at Gamescom 2023 and can already be tried out through a demo on Steam.
Sophia the Traveler is developed by a couple who have not yet made it to Venice themselves and have recreated the entire city based on travel reports and information from Google Maps. In this charming hidden object game you embark on a journey through colorful, hand-painted environments. The game has 10 levels, with a variety of characters that bring the digital Venice to life. With over 1800 detailed characters, over 300 character animation sets and 100 animation sequences with accompanying sound effects, it offers a uniquely immersive experience. The sheer size of the maps satisfies the urge to explore and offers a fun, ever-increasing challenge for young and old. Sophia the Traveler features more than 100 European buildings, including eight famous Venice landmarks, and nearly 300 sound effects integrated into the city to fill them with life.
