Developer Auroch Digital and publisher Fireshine Games announce that the demo for their home brewing sim Brewmaster is now available on Steam. Brewmaster will be released later this year for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
In Brewmaster, players discover, learn, and master the art of brewing beer. From perfecting authentic chemistry-based brewing techniques to bottling, labeling and entering competitions, players can let their creativity run wild and become the ultimate brewmaster.
Virtual beer simulator: zero alcohol guaranteed
Brewmaster is the ultimate love letter to the art of craft beer brewing. Players can now prove their skills as a budding master brewer in the demo on Steam. This is only available for a limited time as part of the Steam Next Fest starting next week. Steam users can use it to see the brewing experience in Brewmaster for themselves. You are allowed to experiment with different ingredients and devices, and use the in-game recipe system to try your hand at making beers. There are two quests and a story section ready to play. Brewmaster's unique tasting mechanic can then be used to determine what type of beer was created.
In addition, developer Auroch Digital announces a new partnership with Next Glass. The company is the world's leading provider of software, e-commerce solutions, content and experiences in the alcohol beverage industry. As part of the cooperation, the brands Untappd, BeerAdvocate and Hop Culture, which are popular among beer lovers, are making their way into the full version of Brewmaster. BeerAdvocate and Hop Culture each appear as a sponsor of a competition and as a client. Players also have the opportunity to unlock special lenses from both brands. Untappd provides ratings for player-brewed beers. Brewmaster badges also appear in the Untappd app.
Kenny Gould, founder of Hop Culture, will be joining the Brewmaster team for a special livestream during Steam Next Fest to dive deeper into the game and talk about the partnership. It's definitely worth tuning in to learn more about setting up your own workspace and accepting and completing quests. Some great bridal tips are also revealed there.
There will also be a special "Beer and Technology Panel" during Steam Next Fest featuring Justin Hawke, Head Brewer and owner of Moor Beer Company, Kenny Gould and the Brewmaster team. The experts discuss beer culture and the technological advances in beer brewing.
“We are extremely excited to partner with Next Glass for the full Brewmaster game and to finally bring the authentic beer brewing simulation experience to Steam players with today's demo,” said Jemima Crow, Marketing and Communications Director at Auroch Digital. "We're focused on making the game an accessible yet deep homebrew sim and hope today's announcement of the partnership will allow players to delve even deeper into the world of Brewmaster when it launches later this year."
“Since Auroch Digital hit the bull's eye with Mars Horizon, we knew Brewmaster was going to be something special,” adds Kenny Gould, Founder of Hop Culture. “Our work with them over the past year and a half has proven that – the game is as close to the brewhouse as it gets without soiling your boots with draff.”
