It remains to be seen how expensive the new Disney Lorcana cards will actually be in stores. During the first wave, sales prices rose rapidly, especially online, to over 200 percent of the RRP. The reason: For game fans, the Germany-wide - sometimes even cross-border - search for remaining card contingents is Disney Lorcan easier than checking out or calling brick-and-mortar stores every day. With just a few clicks you can check online whether Lorcana cards are still available. This possibility of access by everyone ultimately has its price: in online retail, sets, boosters and displays can quickly become many euros more expensive than in stationary retail.
In addition to specialist shops, local toy stores or specialist departments of retail chains such as Smyths Toys, Müller or Thalia have proven successful in the first wave. The shelves there were constantly replenished, but quotas were quickly sold out.
One tip: It's worth asking. The Disney Lorcana cards are not always in the display or display case, but are sometimes kept in the checkout or information area.
