Ubisoft announced the patch notes for the new update 1.2 via the official forum for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. In addition to a new camera setting and the Ostara Festival, it is above all an essential content that fans have been waiting for for a long time: finally more cats are coming into play! Patch 13, which is now available for download, comprises between 18 and 1.2 gigabytes.
There are various key points that Patch 1.2 takes up in Assassin's Creed, including a transmog function. For 50 silver, players at Schmied Gunnar can freely change the appearance of weapons and equipment - at least freely within the respective category. A star symbol then marks the transmog in the inventory.
It's a shame, but understandable: there are no more foxes in London. The developers are now luring fans with loads of cats. The fur noses now appear more frequently with the patch. We give Assassin's Creed Valhalla a seven-point rating. Ok, we won't do it, but we still think it's good that more cats are showing up in England.
Easter egg hunt in Viking land
In the Notes for Patch 1.2 for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft also points out a new Easter event. The festival runs between March 18th and April 8th. Ravensthorpe is then festively decorated - and there will also be some smaller tasks for players. The effort will not be in vain, again rewards - albeit rudimentary ones - provide a little motivation.
Far better: Three new skills come into play. Among them is "Fearless Leaper" an improvement that causes the fall attack to cause greater damage. With “Raven's Loot”, however, the raven companion collects the booty of the opponents that he has killed. With “Loot Food” the chance of finding food increases. All rather minor improvements that are on a similar level as the numerous bug fixes and optimizations: You can't see them directly, but they are welcome.
On the other hand, a new camera setting is directly visible, with which one is closer to Eivor. If you then get into a fight, the camera automatically zooms out to provide a better overview. Ubisoft has made all adjustments in Patch 1.2 changelog which can be viewed on the official forum. Even if the changes are marginal overall, and the spring event is rather entertaining, the new title update is a clear sign that Ubisoft is constantly working on bug fixes. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is well cared for and therefore does not belong to the old wrought iron - and then there is also the prospect of “real” new content.
