Ubisoft today announced that a free game update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now available. It contains a new game activity, the second part and thus the completion of Tombs of the Fallen, as well as a new settlement building, the Runeforge.
Also, to celebrate the brand's 15th anniversary, special in-game rewards are available for free to all players. More free content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be available in October with the Asgardsreid Festival, and the final chapter of Eivor's saga will be released later this year.
Anniversary with digital art exhibition
Additionally, starting today, everyone can enjoy a variety of diverse artworks created by artists from around the world as part of the anniversary celebrations in a unique digital art exhibition on the Assassin's Creed website. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now updated with new free content for the game, including the Runeforge, which can be built in players' settlements once it's level 4. With the Forge, the perks of the current equipment can be turned into new runes in exchange for silver.
The final part of Tombs of the Fallen is now playable. Players must find their way through three mysterious tombs riddled with ancient traps and complex puzzles. Only the most avid adventurers will uncover the buried secrets of a lost civilization. Scattered across England, these enigmatic tombs can be explored once the settlement of Ravensthorpe has been unlocked.
Special in-game rewards are also available via Ubisoft Connect to celebrate the brand's 15th anniversary. Players can enjoy the AC15 Settlement Pack and inking their character's skin with a special AC15 tattoo set.
More free content will be available for Assassin's Creed Valhalla by the end of the year. First up is the Asgardsreid Festival from October 20th to November 10th. Players take part in the festival's wild hunt by defending their settlement from the threat of harmful spirits and proving the strength of the Raven Clan. The festival will feature activities, quests, and a variety of new rewards. New content will be released later this year, including the final chapter's story.
