Simple rules, fast game processes, mostly candy-colored optics - this is how the games from the French publisher can be aptly described. Asmodee will take over the distribution and sell the board games in Germany from March 2021.
From March 2021, Asmodee Germany will take over the distribution of many games from Cocktail Games, the Essen-based publisher announced. As a result of the new cooperation, the mostly funny and varied titles of the French publisher are now made accessible to a broader target group. "Asmodee is thus expanding its portfolio to include high-quality party games and can offer retailers an even more extensive range of exclusive titles," explains Asmodee's PR manager Robin de Cleur.
Cocktail Games: Games in practical packaging
New titles available from Asmodee in March include games such as We will Rock you, I love broccoli, Twin It, Jetlag, Imagine Family, Mimtoo and Give me five. Cocktail Games focuses on high-quality material and practical packaging for its games. Most titles, including "What the fake?!" or "Vocadingo" are packed in stable and handy metal boxes. "The publisher's games are also characterized by modern and attractive graphics and the team pays attention to a high gaming quality when selecting the titles," says Asmodee.

A completely new market will open up for Cocktail Game in spring. So far, the games have mainly been sold in France, Belgium and Luxembourg as well as in Switzerland and Canada, i.e. in francophone countries. The French publisher is not a newcomer to the industry: Cocktail Games has been active for over ten years and has over 100 games in its portfolio. Including well-known titles such as Antoine Bauza's Game of the Year 20213, Hanabi, which was packaged in a metal box by Cocktail Games.
The publisher may already have met fans in this country: Cocktail Games has been represented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in the past.
