Asmodee will host a real world premiere in December 2018. Arkham Nights is taking place in Germany for the first time. From Saturday, December 8th until the night of the following day, horror fans can try out various games from HP Lovecraft's universe in a Düsseldorf youth hostel: provided they buy a ticket. Tickets for the event are available now.
Horror late into the night
The American horror author HP Lovecraft has developed into a real cult figure over the past few decades.
The titles from the so-called "Arkham series" are particularly popular among board gamers. The most complex horror board games work with thematically intensive settings based on the ideas of HP Lovecraft. Although Lovecraft died in 1937, he is considered one of the most important writers of fantastic horror literature. the Arkham Nights 2018 are therefore a real fan service, which is also being held in Germany for the first time. In the USA, the "Two Days of Horror and Madness" have long been as iconic as Lovecraft himself: Fantasy Flight Games has been organizing the Arkham Nights there for several years.
As part of the event, fans can try out the following horror games in demo rounds on December 08th and 09th, 2018:
- Arkham Horror: The Board Game
- Arkham Horror: The Card Game
- Eldritch horror
- Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition
- The older sign
The best for last: there are fantastic prizes to be won for all participants, including game accessories (dice, bags, tokens), promo cards or an Arkham Horror deck box. Tickets for the Arkham Horror Nights 2018 in Düsseldorf costs 13,73 euros and are available now available. A limited number of tickets are available, but can be canceled up to seven days before the start of the event for a refund of the ticket fee (note special fees from Eventbrite). The playful horror night takes place in the Youth hostel in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel.
