The new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has barely been released, as there are new indications of future features. Again it is the Dataminer Ninji who claims to have discovered fragments in the game's program code that indicate new content. Specifically, this time it's about a feature that fans might already know from the handheld offshoot Animal Crossing: New Leaf for Nintendo 3DS.

With the new Update 1.2.0 Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans gained access to a wealth of new content. There is now a gallery in the museum, gardener Gerd drives around with his garden mobile and treasure hunter Reiner lands his cutter so that players can equip the museum exhibition with rare works of art and collector's items.
As if that weren't enough, there are also several seasonal events, such as Nature's Day. It is precisely at this event that the Dataminer Ninji wants those clues* that indicate the new old feature.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Well-known Feature May Be Coming

What is meant is the so-called Dream Suite, which fans of Animal Crossing might already know from the handheld branch New Leaf for Nintendo 3DS. In the game code for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Ninji claims to have discovered at least hints of it. Such a feature could also be planned for the Nintendo Switch variant.

Ninji states that the update will make various adjustments to the save game, suggesting the slumber house as a returning feature. With this, the clues intensify further after corresponding finds, namely a “Dream ID”, had already been discovered in the release version of New Horizons.

Just look, don't touch: The Dream Suite offers players the opportunity to visit the cities of other island builders in their dreams - then without being able to make changes. Image:

The so-called Dream Suite offers players the opportunity to visit other cities without actually having to visit them. In her slumber house, Serenada offers a service that enables fans to dream of traveling to the cities of other Animal Crossing users. The highlight: It also worked when the other player was offline.
